Planetarium Sky theater Interaction

On the 30th of June, Asteroid Day, we will be celebrating asteroid discoveries made by Indian students with an interactive program in the sky theater of the planetarium.This is an event in collaboration with SPACE , regional co-ordinators for Asteroid Day

The Program:

1. The discovered asteroid positions in the sky will be added to the planetarium system software and shown in the planetarium sky, to the participants, during an interactive sky theater session on asteroids.

2. Skype interaction will be conducted with Patrick Michel, Senior Researcher at CNRS (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique), leader of the team TOP (Theories and Observations in Planetology) of the Lagrange Laboratory at the Côte d'Azur Observatory in Nice (France).

3. Student discoverers of asteroids will be present as panel members for interaction with the participants. Those wishing to participate in the Asteroid day event at the planetarium scheduled from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM on the 30th of June, may fill the Google form here
